Kat Hansell

Kat Hansell (they/them) is a dedicated stage manager currently completing the apprenticeship program at The Juilliard School. They have recently graduated from the University of California, Irvine with Honors in Stage Management. They started their theater journey in middle school and have continued to develop their passion and talents in the intervening years. They have worked on many different productions including stage management on Decision Height (Sacramento City College), Dumb Waiter (UC Irvine), and As You Like It (New Swan Shakespeare). They have also dabbled in several other fields including film, lighting programming, electrics hanging, and scenic design. As Kat has ventured into the professional world of stage management, they have found they excel at organization and working with their cast and crew. They have also recently started their journey into the worlds of event management and T.V. production. During their free time, Kat enjoys reading science fiction and fantasy novels. They are also an avid music lover, with various tastes ranging from musical theater classics to pop.
